Client settings

This page is for the Firm Admin (role merchant_admin). It describes how to configure a client’s (Mandant’s) master data — the basis for every DATEV-EXTF export.

The form at /settings/tenant is grouped into three areas.

FieldMeaning
NameDisplay name of the client (shown in the client switcher).
SlugTechnical short identifier. Read-only — assigned on creation and cannot be changed.
FieldMeaning
Chart of accountsDropdown with SKR03 (Handel) or SKR04 (Handwerk). Determines which accounts the export books to.
Client number (DATEV)Numeric DATEV client number.
Consultant number (DATEV)Numeric DATEV consultant number of the firm.
FieldMeaning
Client numberUp to 7 digits; appears in the EXTF header. Example: 0010001.
Consultant numberUp to 7 digits; appears in the EXTF header. Example: 0543210.
Fiscal-year startDate on which the client’s fiscal year begins.
Account lengthDigit count of the general-ledger accounts — 4 to 9 (dropdown).
  1. Open Settings → Organisation (/settings/tenant).
  2. Enter the name. The slug stays read-only.
  3. Choose the chart of accounts (SKR03 or SKR04).
  4. Set the client number and consultant number (DATEV and EXTF).
  5. Set the fiscal-year start and the account length (4–9).
  6. Save settings.

KanzleiSynchron is multi-client: uploads, reconciliations, exceptions, and handoff packs are strictly separated per client. The client switcher at the top of the navigation changes the entire working context; there are no cross-client views for firm users. Export histories are retained permanently and immutably per client (see GoBD & period close).
